His vocal style moves naturally between smooth pop and R&B tones, softer intimate passages and deeper, more vulnerable performances, giving him a strong presence in some of the group’s most emotional songs. There is an openness in the way Nicki performs. Rather than hiding emotion behind technique, he often lets the feeling of a song shape his voice, which makes his parts feel immediate, personal and human. That emotional instinct has become one of the qualities most strongly associated with him. As the Face of the Group, Nicki also carries a strong visual and public presence, but his role in STRAY BOYS goes far beyond image.
